Professional Qualifications

James is a ten-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, and began his career with CoStar Realty Information Services as a Research Analyst in their Bethesda, Maryland Headquarters. He has been in the commercial real estate brokerage business since early 2001. Since then, he has developed extensive experience in General Real Estate Brokerage with broad experience in leasing and sales of multiple property types including office, industrial, flex, medical/dental, biotech, retail, commercial condominiums, and land. He is experienced in both Landlord/Seller and Buyer/Tenant representation.

Formerly with Trust Properties, Inc. from 2001 through early 2009, James has been selected by Appian as Senior Vice President to oversee its Prince William County operations.  With a focus on being a general commercial real estate broker, James has been able to cater to a wide variety of clients including business owners across multiple industries, entrepreneurs, and developers.
