Appian Realty inks three Virgina leases December 9, 2008 Appian Realty Advisors executed three leases, totaling more than 35,000 square feet, in the Northern Virginia area. Apex Gymnastics, which provides recreational and competitive gymnastics activities, leased 13,892 square feet at the 89,000-square-foot facility at 741 Miller Dr. in Leesburg. Apex is expanding its space by 2,410 square feet from its previous 11,482 square feet. The renewal of existing space has a five-year term and the expansion space has a 6.5-year term. Appian represented the landlord, Gelman Company. Rexel, a distributor worldwide of electrical supplies in 29 countries, leased 12,281 square feet at 2721 Door Ave. in Merrifield. Ross, Langan & McKendree LLP, a provider of accounting, tax, auditing, and management advisory services, is moving its headquarters from 6829 Elm St. in McLean. It leased 9,299 square feet at 7900 Westpark Blvd. in Tysons Corner. The firm is expected to occupy the new space in June 2009. Appian represented both tenants.
