The NAP of the Capital Region (NCR) is a state of the art, secure datacenter facility situated on a 30 acre campus in Central Virginia approximately 60 miles from the zero mile marker near the White House.  The 600,000 SF development is designed to accommodate five 50,000 – 100,000 square foot data centers and one 72,000 square foot secure office and administration building with a secure 100 seat briefing center.  The site has been designed with significant physical security considerations including 150 foot building setbacks, earth berms, DoD trained anti terrorism staff, and rapid response security force.  Initial engineering provides for raised floor power of 120-180 watts per square foot scalable to 240 watts per square foot with N+2 redundancy.  There are at least two (2) physically diverse fiber optic entry points for each of the operating buildings.  Dark fiber from this facility is connected directly to other Terremark facilities providing access to over 200 domestic and international carriers.

Appian is providing leasing services for Terremark.
